About Us
Our Club History
- The Oneida Sportsmen's Club is located in Outagamie County, in the Town of Oneida, Wisconsin and was established in 1989. It began as the Oneida Conservation Club.
- The Club's first President was life member Marvin Lucas.
- In 1991 the Oneida Tribe took over the Conservation Department and the Oneida Sportsmen's Club was formed.
- Also in 1991, a 10.61 acre parcel of land was purchased from John Mertz and ground breaking was to follow.
- And in November of 1991 a clubhouse and a shooting range was constructed.
- It is a private members only Club, with lifetime membership. In November 2011, lifetime membership were no longer issued. It changed to a four (4) year membership.
- The public is welcome, but must be accompanied by a Member.
- In 2006, the property was sold to the Oneida Tribe and is now leased from the Oneida Tribe.
- Also in 2006, a new main clubhouse with a meeting room was constructed.
The Club hosts events that are open to the public such as Hunter Safety classes, Trapper Classes and Conceal and Carry Classes at our Club. We also donate to local charities, organizations and individuals who send requests. Our main event for the year is an annual banquet held the first Friday of October to give back to the community and to thank them for their support of our Club.
